A celebration of Women's History Month with Alessandra Belloni and her new women's ensemble, Daughters of Cybele, joined by guest actress Cynthia Enfield and violinist Susan Aquila. Countries around the world have musical traditions based on the power of women, and Belloni and Company will present this ancient form of praying and healing with sacred chants, and trance music and dances. Instruments include frama drums, tambourines, shakers, djembes, ballaphones, dumbek, riggs, mazhars, and marimbas.
