Darren Criss, Kelsey Grammer & More Broadway Stars to Visit Next Week's THE TALK on CBS!

CBS's THE TALK will return to New York City for a week of episodes, to be broadcast Monday, May 11 - Friday, May 15 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT) on the CBS Television Network. Hosts Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood will shoot on location in New York for the eighth time, originating from the CBS Broadcast Center. This year, the show won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Writing and was honored with seven nominations, including Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
THE TALK will feature guest co-hosts throughout the week, including country music legend Wynonna Judd, television host Gayle King (CBS News' CBS THIS MORNING) and television personality and ANIMAL activist Beth Stern, who will be filling in for host Sara Gilbert. Details on guests and programming for the week of May 11 include: Monday, May 11 Multiple Tony Award winners Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane discuss their Broadway play "It's Only a Play"; television personality and ANIMAL activist Beth Stern guest co-hosts; "Top Talker" radio personality Charlamagne; renowned New York City chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud cooks braised beef brisket with spring peas and carrots (n) Tuesday, May 12 Actress Vanessa Hudgens discusses her Broadway play "Gigi"; country music legend Wynonna Judd guest co-hosts; musical director and musician Paul Shaffer (CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN); "Top Talker" radio personality Jenny Hutt (n)CBS's THE TALK, recent winner of a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Writing and honored with seven nominations this year, including Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host, features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
