DOUBT playwright John Patrick Shanley and star Cherry Jones will be interviewed live on "The Leonard  Lopate Show" today beginning at noon. The interview will air locally on WNYC (93.9 FM).

DOUBT is directed by Doug Hughes and also stars Heather Goldenhersh, Adriane Lenox, and Brían F. O'Byrne.

The acclaimed world premiere production of DOUBT is playing at Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) through January 30.

Terry Teachout of The Wall Street Journal called DOUBT, "The Best New Play of the Season."

Ben Brantley of The New York Times said, "The splendid Cherry Jones and the stunning Brían F. O'Byrne are extraordinary. Heather Goldenhersh and Adriane Lenox are excellent."

Michael Sommers of the Newark Star-Ledger said, "Directing the world premiere with exceptional skill and taste, Doug Hughes gives a major play a meaningful staging."

In the 1960s, at a Catholic school in the Bronx, a nun grows suspicious when a priest begins taking too much interest in the life of a young male student. Is she being overly protective...or not protective enough?
