Creative Team Of BRING IT ON Holds Panel Discussion on the Alliance Stage

The ALLIANCE THEATRE announces the Tony Award® winning creative team behind its world premiere production of Bring It On: The Musical will appear in a panel discussion on Wednesday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be free and open to the public.

The high-stakes world of competitive cheerleading meets the cutthroat rivalries of high school politics and romance in this bold and explosive new musical comedy which makes its world premier at the ALLIANCE THEATRE in January 2011.

The Bring It On: The Musical creative team consists of the talents of some of Broadway's brightest young creators, including:

· Jeff Whitty - Tony Award® winning book writer of Avenue Q

· Tom Kitt - Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize winning composer of Next to Normal

· Lin-Manuel Miranda -Tony Award® winning composer of In The Heights

· Amanda Green - Lyricist of the popular musical High Fidelity

· Andy Blankenbuehler - Tony Award® winning choreographer of In the Heights

· Susan V. Booth - ALLIANCE THEATRE's Jennings Hertz, Jr. Artistic Director


The Bring It On: The Musical panel is free to the public. 

Bring It On: The Musical is presented at the ALLIANCE THEATRE by special arrangement with Universal Pictures Stage Productions/Glenn Ross, Beacon Communications/Armyan Bernstein & Charlie Lyons, and Kristin Caskey & Mike Isaacson, Executive Producers.

Bring It On: The Musical will be performed on the Alliance Stage with previews beginning Saturday, January 15, 2011 with opening night planned for Friday, January 28. The run will continue through Sunday, February 20. Performances are Tuesday through Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
