The comic's comic, Nick DiPaolo is a regular on the Comedy Central Roasts, Howard Stern Show and Opie and Anthony and was in the film Beer League. The very funny Nick DiPaolo is bringing his stand-up show to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, July 18, at 8 p.m.

His honest and caustic comedy has made him a sought after voice on stage, television and radio and earned him two Emmy Nominations for writing. DiPaolo has four standup specials, which he wrote and starred in, four CDs and a one-hour Showtime special "Raw Nerve" to his credit. DiPaolo has performed at Catch a Rising Star and Caroline's in New York City and made guest appearances on The Sopranos and The Chris Rock Show. This event is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series with media sponsor WPLR.

DiPaolo's career took off after he appeared on "HBO's Young Comedian Special". He has four standup specials, which he wrote and starred in, four CDs and a one-hour Showtime special "Raw Nerve" to write home about. DiPaolo has also starred in numerous comedy shows, including Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn and several of their roasts, most notably for Pamela Anderson, Denis Leary, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. His comedic pearls of comic wisdom even made it to the 77th Annual Academy Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards.
