The new Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, originally scheduled to open on Tuesday, March 15, has rescheduled its opening to Tuesday, March 22 at 6:45pm at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47 Street).

Christian Slater, who will co-star as Tom Wingfield in the Tennessee Williams classic, will play his first performance on Tuesday, March 8 at 8pm.

The Bill Kenwright production starring two-time Oscar winner Jessica Lange as Amanda Wingfield and directed by David Leveaux, began previews Thursday, February 24. The Glass Menagerie also stars Sarah Paulson as Laura Wingfield and Josh Lucas as The Gentleman Caller. Joey Collins is playing the role of Tom until Mr. Slater plays his first performance.

The Glass Menagerie is performed Tuesday evenings at 7pm, Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturdays at 2pm and Sundays at 3pm. Please note that the Tuesday, March 1 and March 8 performances begin at 8pm.
