The York Theatre Company will present Chris & Adelmo on stage at The York Theatre (The Theatre at St. Peters, 54th St. just East of Lexington) for a special New Year's Eve performance at 10 PM with a midnight champagne reception.

"The self-styled 'Bad Boys of Opera,' operatic tenor Chris Cain and baritone Adelmo Guidarelli, return to The York Theatre for a unique musical performance."  According to press materials, "their vocal ability and variety will astound even the most jaded theatergoer as they musically slapstick their way from the cafes of Paris to the hills of Arkansas and don Yankee uniforms and perform Gilbert & Sullivan in this hilarious evening of classically-styled comedy. Chris & Adelmo is full of optimism, resourcefulness, talent, and a healthy disregard for the status quo."   The show opened on December 12th, and also played performances on December 19th and 26th.

Chris Cain and Adelmo Guidarelli, both classically trained, are the hosts of "Voices Among Us," a multi-genre television music talk show and podcast on RCN Channel 8 NYC daily at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on RCN Boston at 8 p.m.  Visit their website at www.voicesamongus.com for more information about the show.

Chris & Adelmo
is directed by Mike Wills, with musical direction by Bruce Staysna and vocal coaching by William Riley.

Tickets are $40.  An optional pre-show dinner package is also being offered with a 3-course meal at Luna Piena, (53rd between 3rd & 2nd Avenues). The dinner and show package is $80/person. Tickets can be purchased by calling (212) 935-5820 or by going to www.yorktheatre.org.
