CEDAR LAKE ARTS presents RAW, a multi-genre performance that examines the primitive spirit and its will to survive. The original production, conceived by Cedar Lake's artistic/executive director L.J. Ballard, will lead audiences through scenarios in which life is threatened individually and collectively (genocide and extinction) and the pivotal point in which one lives or succumbs to our end. It incorporates drama and poetry performances, contemporary ballet, an original score, and multi-media theatrical values in a seamless production.
RAW features the work of controversial author Henry Bean, as well as William Shakespeare, Leslea Newman, Todd Loyd, Lisa Miller, Leila Nelson, Greg Mudd, the Cedar Lake Ensemble and Cedar Lake Theater Ensemble.
