The New York Times reports that Kim Cattrall ("Sex and the City") and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter Series) will co-star in My Boy Jack, a film directed by Brian Krik (The Tudors) and scheduled to begin shooting in Ireland in July.

Based on David Haig's adaptation of his play about Rudyard Kipling (The Jungle Book, Just So Stories, Kim) and his family, the film follows the famed writer and his wife, Caroline (Cattrall), as they search for their son (Radcliffe), who disappeared in World War I.

Perhaps best known as Samantha on "Sex and the City," Catrall made her West End debut last year in Whose Life is It Anyway?, and more recently appeared in the Donmar Warehouse's revival of David Mamet's The Cryptogram. She also appeared on Broadway in 1986's Wild Honey, and her film credits include Big Trouble in Little China, Above Suspicion, The Bonfire of the Vanities, and Mannequin.

Daniel Radcliffe, who famously plays the title role in the Harry Potter films, is currently appearing in the West End revival of Equus at the Gielgud Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. The show, scheduled to close June 9, 2007, will transfer to Broadway in summer 2008, with Radcliffe and co-star Richard Griffiths reprising their roles.
