Katharine Farmer directs Lin Blakely (Eastenders/ Silent Witness) as Bea, Michael Brandon (Episodes/Jerry Springer the Opera) as Jorgy, Amy Burke (Serial Thriller) as Kate, Rob Locke (NCIS, General Hospital) as Larry and Mark Rose (True West) as Coles in a timely revival of Jerry Sterner's darkly comic Off-Broadway hit, Other People's Money at Southwark Playhouse. Written in 1989, Other People's Money is a funny, fast-paced and provocative comment on the greed and excess of the 1980s.

The Wire and Cable Company of New England is a sleep family-run business - that is until Larry-the-Liquidator threatens to bring a little corporate pillage to the village.

With a jam-today approach to both doughnuts and investments, Larry is accustomed to grabbing life by the assets. But CEO Jory has a different approach. Will his small-town ideas stack up against booming Wall Street? But it all comes down to whether values have their price.

Opening off-Broadway in 1989 Other People's Money took Wall Street by storm and won an Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play, it was then adapted into the 1991 Hollywood film starring Danny DeVito.

Director Katharine Farmer's credits include most recently in the States, South Pacific (Rubicon Theatre and Heisenberg Theatre and Laguna Playhouse). Her UK credits include Kiss Me Kate (Wardrobe Theatre), Pig Farm (St James Theatre), Silent Meat (R&D and scratch performance at Pleasance Theatre). With her 0-1 visa Katharine has directed Incognito by Nick Payne, Gulf View Drive (winner of Best Production of a Play at the LA Ovation Awards), See Rock City (winner of Best Actress at Ovations) and Last Train to Nibroc (Best Director winner at Santa Barbara Indy Awards) at Rubicon Theatre Company in California. Her international directing credits include 23.5 Hours by Carey Crim at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in Canada and Last Train to Nibroc in Bermuda. Katharine's direction of The Nibroc Trilogy by Arlene Hutton is currently available for download on Digital Theatre.
