The Canticum Novum Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, Conductor and Artistic Director will present A Canticum Novum Christmas concerts on Saturday, December 19 at 8 PM at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 552 West End Avenue and Sunday December 20 at 2:30 PM at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 82nd Street (bwtn Broadway and Amsterdam), both in Manhattan.

These first concerts of The Canticum Novum Singers' 2015-16 season will include holiday music by Dutch composer Samuel Scheidt, Renaissance composer William Byrd, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Americans John Harbison and Morton Lauridsen, and traditional carols arranged by British composers David Willcocks and John Rutter.

The Canticum Novum Singers, hailed by critics and audiences alike, is now in its 43rd season under the direction of its founder, Harold Rosenbaum. This chamber choir has achieved both national and international recognition for its stylistic versatility, vocal blend, and expressive range. The ensemble has presented dozens of world, American, and New York premieres by composers ranging from Handel, J.C.
