CHEAP TRICK to Perform at RiverEdge Park in Downtown Aurora
James Hatem will open for the rock legends at the Illinois outdoor venue.
Cheap Trick, the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band from Rockford, Illinois, will perform at downtown Aurora's RiverEdge Park on Thursday, June 25.
Known for iconic hits including "I Want You To Want Me," "Dream Police," "The Flame" and "Surrender," the band will bring its signature blend of hard rock and power-pop to the newly expanded outdoor venue. Nashville-based singer-songwriter James Hatem will open the concert.
Tickets are $50, with gates opening at 6 p.m. and the concert beginning at 8 p.m. All tickets are general admission.

About The Venue
Following a year-long renovation project, RiverEdge Park has reopened with a number of new amenities, including a 16-station beverage pavilion, expanded entrance and ticketing area, larger grass seating sections, three new video boards, an expanded restroom facility, a new backstage artist pavilion and food offerings from local favorite Strawberries BBQ.
Guests are encouraged to bring bag chairs for designated concrete seating areas, while blankets and bag chairs are permitted on the lawn. Standing-room viewing is available directly in front of the stage.

For nearly five decades, Cheap Trick has remained one of rock music's most enduring and influential bands. Formed in Rockford, Illinois, by Robin Zander, Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson and Bun E. Carlos, the group has earned more than 40 international Gold and Platinum certifications, sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and performed more than 6,000 concerts.
The band's catalog includes such classics as "Heaven Tonight," "Dream Police," "Surrender," "I Want You To Want Me" and the No. 1 hit "The Flame." Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and continues to maintain an active touring schedule.

James Hatem is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from New Jersey whose music blends blues, rock and Americana influences. Drawing inspiration from artists including John Mayer, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and The Band, Hatem has built a reputation for energetic live performances and emotionally driven songwriting.
He has toured with Cheap Trick and has shared stages with The Rolling Stones, Kansas and LeAnn Rimes.
