Butley Playwright Gray Featured on 'Theater Talk,' 10/27
On Friday, October 27, Butley playwright Simon Gray will give a rare American television interview on "Theater Talk." The show airs at 12:30 AM on Thirteen.
Butley stars Nathan Lane and "is Simon Gray's devastating and funny play about a college professor who faces losing his wife and his lover in one day. Armed with a cigarette in one hand and a bottle of Scotch in the other, Ben Butley puts his acid wit to work as he fights a last-ditch battle for their affection and for his own sanity."
The program airs again on CUNY TV: Saturday, October 4 at 8:30 PM; Sunday; October 5 at 12:30 PM; Monday, October 6 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Butley opens tonight on Broadway at The Booth Theatre.
