On Saturday, October 27 at the Hilton Times Square, Tony Award nominee Laura Bell Bundy, star of Legally Blonde The Musical, joins Hilton Hotels and the Tony Awards in hosting a theatre workshop for more than 30 students from the Dorothy Day After School Program at Broadway Housing Communities as part of Hilton's First Theatre Memories Program.

Legally Blonde cast member Paul Canaan will teach students a choreographed song and dance number from Broadway's hot musical and talk about his theatre experience.  During the students' final rehearsals, they will be treated to a special appearance by Ms. Bundy, who will help them fine tune their routine and provide acting advice on how to enhance their stage presence.  Following their mini-performance, the students will attend a matinee show and receive an exclusive backstage tour.

This workshop is one of three hosted by Hilton Hotels, the Tony Awards and participating theatres in select cities through March 2008 designed to enhance students' appreciation for the arts and provide them with opportunities to experience a Broadway show for the first time. To further extend their theatre experience, participating students in each city can enter Hilton's "First Theatre Memories" Writing Contest where one lucky winner will receive a free trip for two to attend the 2008 Tony Awards.

Opening remarks begin at 10:15AM followed by the theatre workshop from 10:30AM-12:30PM.  Laura Bell Bundy makes a special appearance at 12PM.  Events take place at the Hilton Times Square (234 West 42nd Street, in the Bijou Room, located on the CC level).
