"Imagine 'Hair' or 'Godspell' throw in a helping of Motown and filter the whole thing through the pyrotechnics of 'American Idol.'" - Ben Brantley, New York Times

Brooklyn Records will release Brooklyn The Musical, a one-of-a-kind live recording of the original cast album from the brand new Broadway musical, available December 14th, and distributed by Razor & Tie.  Featuring the tracks, "Once Upon a Time," "Heart Behind These Hands," and "Raven," the music from Brooklyn The Musical will ignite any music lover's ears (whether familiar with the production or not), with its rousing combination of gospel, rock and soul and a touch of the familiar show tune sound.  In addition, this cast album captures the true spirit of the show with applause, hollers, and screams of "Encore!," making the listener feel as if they are in the front row of the audience.
