On Friday, March 5, ESPN sports reporter Stephen A. Smith, will be reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie in honor of Read Across America Day. 

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the publication of the classic children's book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff at Marcy Library. This special event includes a read-aloud to first graders from PS 305 and pre-schoolers from The Salvation Army Pre-School by special guest, sports reporter Stephen A. Smith. Groups all over the country are reading this book today so come be a part of this nationwide effort.

The event will take place Friday, March 5, 11AM-12PM at the Marcy Library, 617 DeKalb Ave. at Nostrand Avenue. For more information visit http://www.brooklynpubliclibrary.org/.
