Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Elena Shaddow, Aspects of Andrew: Lloyd Webber, Broadway on 22nd Street, Molly Ryan "Come Up and See Me Sometime" a Cheeky Tribute to Mae West, and Christine Ebersole.

Elena Shaddow

Broadway leading lady Elena Shaddow makes her 54 Below solo debut in an exciting evening dedicated to her favorite contemporary composers. Elena recently played Sister Sophia in the NBC live television event The Sound of Music, and played Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County. Her Broadway credits include Anne Dindon in La Cage Aux Folles, The Woman in White, Fiddler on the Roof, Nine,Sweet Smell of Success, and Les Miserables. She starred as Fanny in Fanny at City Center Encores, played Magnolia in Showboat at the Royal Albert Hall, and received a Helen Hayes Best Actress nomination for playing Clara in the first national tour of The Light in the Piazza. Possessing one of the most beautiful voices in theater today, Elena has had the good fortune to perform the works-on Broadway and regionally-- of her favorite contemporary composers, to whom she pays tribute in this show Always Better: The New Golden Age of Musicals.

Molly Ryan "Come Up and See Me Sometime" a Cheeky Tribute to Mae West

Since moving to New York City from Roseville, CA in August of 2003, she has become one of the most sought-after vocalists on the New York jazz scene. She has performed at such prestigious Manhattan venues as the Café Carlyle, The Waldorf Astoria, Birdland, Iridium, The New York Historical Society Museum and The Player's Club. She has performed alongside such prominent jazz artists as Randy Reinhart, Jon-Erik Kellso, Bria Skonberg, Dan Barrett, Mark Shane, Rossano Sportiello, as well as with the preeminent 1920s-style orchestra, Vince Giordano's Nighthawks. She is a member of Gordon Au's Grand Street Stompers, and appears on the band's Christmas album, released in November 2012. Molly also performs periodically with the gypsy jazz group Fête Manouche and with James Langton's New York All-Star Big Band, both of which spotlight her as rhythm guitarist as well as vocalist. Featuring Dan Levinson on clarinet and sax, Dalton Ridenhour on piano, Rob Adkins on bass and Kevin Dorn on drums.

Christine Ebersole

54 Below is proud to present two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole in an exciting new show to open the fall season. Currently starring on the hit TBS comedy series Sullivan & Son, Christine Ebersole returns to the New York nightclub scene with her first new show in two years. From pop to Broadway, and a few standards and jazz in between, the new show features Musical Director Bette Sussman (Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler, Darlene Love, Whitney Houston) and a full band. Winner of two Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical (42nd Street and Grey Gardens), Christine has also starred in film (Wolf of Wall Street), television (Royal Pains) and has performed concerts in theaters and concert halls across the country, from The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall to The Pasadena and Boston Pops.
