Today we rewind to 2018 when The Prom opened on Broadway. The Prom, directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, played for 309 performances at the Longacre Theatre. It starred Beth Leavel, Christopher Sieber, Brooks Ashmanskas, Angie Schworer, Caitlin Kinnunen, Josh Lamon, and Isabelle McCalla. The musical follows four Broadway actors lamenting their days of fame, as they travel to the conservative town of Edgewater, Indiana to help a lesbian student banned from bringing her girlfriend to high school prom.
