According to a Facebook post by Emily Drennan, some Broadway performers who are in Midtown and able to get to Times Square are performing impromptu for stranded tourists and to spread a little sunshine. They met and began at 3 p.m. Any proceeds will be given to storm relief.

The Facebook post reads: "Dear Theater Friends in Midtown and those of you who know people who live here - There is a lot of devastation in our beloved city and for some reason we here in Midtown have been spared. In Times Square, people are looking for something to do. We should all get together and sing some songs for these people: The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow; New York, New York; No Business like Show Business....we all know them. It's not much but its a little something we can do for the city."
