Broadway Performer Cris Alexander Passes Away

Broadway actor and photographer Cris Alexander passed away on March 7th due to natural causes, Variety reports. He was 92.

Alexander originated the role of Chip in Leonard Bernstein's ON THE TOWN. Other credits included WONDERFUL TOWN, AUNTIE MAME, and PRESENT LAUGHTER.

Alexander was also a photographer and provided the projection design for Broadway's TWO BY TWO. Alexander was born in Tulsa, Okla. Shaun O'Brien, his partner of 62 years, died two weeks prior to his own death.
