Bret Michaels proves he is a true survivor as his Get Your Rock On Tour hits the St. George stage on April 16th.

Bret Michaels has survived a lifelong battle as an insulin dependent diabetic, a well publicized near fatal car crash and the countless musical trends and fads of the last two decades. As front man for the legendary rock band Poison, he has sold 25 million records and scored an amazing 15 chartbusting Top 40 singles including "Talk Dirty to Me", "Something to Believe In", "Nothing But a Good Time" and the #1 smash "Every Rose Has its Thorn".

Setting his musical sights beyond Poison, Michaels released his debut solo album "Songs of Life" in 2003 followed by the rootsy, Americana flavored sophomore record "Freedom of Sound" in 2005.

Michael's "Rock My World" released in June 2008 is a collection of solo songs that were featured on his "Rock Of Love" television series. The series became the highest rated series on VH1. He just finished the first season of "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It" also airing on VH1. Michaels was the winning contestant on NBC's reality show, Celebrity Apprentice 3.

Bret Michaels Get Your Rock On Tour rocks the St. George Theatre, 35 Hyatt Street, Staten Island on Saturday, April 16th. Showtime is 8 pm. Tickets start at only $29. The St. George is only two blocks from the Staten Island Ferry and a short ferry ride from Manhattan or a short drive from New Jersey and Brooklyn. Valet parking is available at the theatre.
