Barbara Cook Cancels Tonight's Performance at NJPAC Due to Illness

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) just announced on its Facebook page that Barbara Cook has had to cancel tonight's performance due to a stomach virus.

The John Pizzarelli Quartet with guest vocalist Jessica Molaskey will now perform a full concert in the Prudential Hall.

Refunds will be available starting Monday. For further information, ticketholders may call 1-888-GO-NJPAC (888-466-5722).

One of the all time great voices, Barbara Cook created leading female roles in the Broadway classics Candide, The Music Man, and She Loves Me. She has also appeared on the Great White Way in Sondheim on Sondheim.

Cook has been honored with the Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk, and Drama Critics Circle Awards, has been inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame, and was recently presented with the Kennedy Center Honor.
