BWW TV: Richard Levine Named Funniest Printer at OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES!

Just last week, the winner of an Old Jews Telling Jokes contest for the Funniest (Fill in the Blank) got the chance to tell his joke on stage at the end of the show at the Westside Thetare. The winner was funnyman Richard Levine, who won the title of the Funniest [Retired] Printer. BroadwayWorld was there for the special occasion and you can check out the joke below!

The show features Bill Army, Marilyn Sokol, Todd Susman, Audrey Lynn Weston and Lenny Wolpe. Created by Peter Gethers and Daniel Okrent, Old Jews Telling Jokes is directed by Marc Bruni and showcases five actors in a revue that pays tribute to and reinvents classic jokes of the past and present. Think you've heard them all before? Not this way. The show also features comic songs -- brand new and satisfyingly old - as well as tributes to some of the giants of the comedy world and to, the website created by Sam Hoffman that inspired the show. If you've ever had a mother, visited a doctor, or walked into a bar with a priest, a rabbi and a frog - Old Jews Telling Jokes will sit in the dark, give you a second opinion, and ask you where you got that.

OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES opened in May at off-Broadway's Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street). For more information, visit
