The August Wilson Theatre was the place to be last night as Mean Girls officially opened on Broadway! How would we describe the night in one word? Fetch! To celebrate the big night, some of Broadway's best, plus alumni of Tina Fey's many projects of past and present, walked the pink carpet before the curtain went up.

"I used to go to Tina and Jeff [Richmond]'s apartment and they would play Broadway musical songs all night long." said Fey's past SNL costar Jimmy Fallon. "I'm so excited about this."

UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT star and Broadway veteran Tituss Burgess can't get enough of Mean Girls. He told Richard Ridge: "I've seen it twice. It's wonderful!"

"I'm so curious to see how it's been updated," said his co-star Ellie Kemper. "So much has changed in the world, and yet, not very much has changed..."
