If/Then, the upcoming world premiere musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director), will make its world premiere engagement in Washington, D.C., with previews beginning tonight, before moving on to Broadway. If/Then will play Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) in spring 2014, beginning preview performances on March 5, and officially opening on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

Idina Menzel, who will lead the new musical, is currently promoting her latest film- Disney's Frozen, which will open in theatres on November 27. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge got to chat with her all about the highly anticipated film, but she also revealed some details on the upcoming musical, including what it's been like working with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, reuniting with Michael Greif, and more. On the verge of turning 40, Elizabeth (Menzel) moves back to New York City, the ultimate city of possibility, intent on a fresh start - new home, new friends, and hopes for a resurgent career. But even in her carefully planned new life, the smallest decision or most random occurrence will impact her world in ways she never dreamt possible. Set against the ever-shifting landscape of modern day Manhattan, If/Thenis a romantic and original new musical about how choice and chance collide and how we learn to love the fallout.

This Thanskiving weekend, Walt Disney Animation Studios will present its latest animated movie musical, FROZEN- a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey-teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven-to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
