Review: LYSISTRATA  at AUC Malak Gabr Theater In the Heart of New Cairo , The theater of the American University in Cairo brings back ancient greek comedy modernized with the adaptation of Aristophanes Lysistrata .

Directed by Dr. Jillian Campana, a theatre professor at the American University in Cairo, with scenic and lighting designed by John Stephen Hoey , also a theater professor , with a cast of 20 students in a 90 minute show the fast paced comedy with extravagant lights, circus inspired fills the heart of new Cairo with joy and leaves all audiences in awe from the lighting design with the choreography and movement integrated in this play.

The production was choreographed by Nicole Roerick who alongside Campana staged and choreographed Various dance routines .
