BWW Polls: Who Would You Like to See as 'Fanny Brice' in the Revival of FUNNY GIRL?

The all-new production of FUNNY GIRL opens February 1, 2012, at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Previews begin January 15 and the production continues through February 26, 2012.

The announcement that a revival of FUNNY GIRL was in the works last season opened the floodgates of speculation as to who would be reprising the iconic role of 'Fanny Brice,' made famous by Barbra Streisand. While the theatrical community was buzzing about Idina Menzel, Lea Michele, Laura Benanti, Shoshana Bean, Ana Gasteyer and Leslie Kritzer - to name a few - the Center Theatre Group announced that it was conducting an online search for the show's star. Production officials have been mum on any leads.
