BOY GETS GIRL Plays Access Theatre, 11/3-11/20
HARRY DIESEL PRODUCTIONS today announced the production of award-winning playwright Rebecca Gilman's BOY GETS GIRL, directed by Michael Menger. BOY GETS GIRL will play a three-week limited engagement at the Access Theatre (380 Broadway @ White Street on the 4th Floor). Performances begin Thursday, November 3 and continue through Sunday, November 20. Opening Night is Saturday, November 5 (8 p.m.). Press are invited to all performances starting November 3.
Theresa Bedell is an independent literary journalist living in New York City. Utterly devoted to her work, she struggles to find a meaningful relationship. When set up on a blind date with Tony, a handsome man new to town, with humor and suspense her life is turned upside down.
What defines a stalker? How tenuous is one woman's control over her own life, when someone refuses to take no for an answer?
The production features scenic design by David Menard, costume design by Jessa-Raye Court, and lighting design by Keith Truax. Shaun Gunning is the sound designer and creating original soundtrack music and Connor Davis is the stage manager.
BOY GETS GIRL plays the following regular schedule through Sunday, November 20:
Thursdays at 8 p.m.
Fridays at 8 p.m.
Saturdays at 8 p.m.
Sundays at 7 p.m.
