Broadway actor Frank Dolce, who portrayed Michael in the original Broadway production of 'Billy Elliot' will next be seen in FOX's new comedy 'Sons of Tucson' set to premiere on March 14, reports TVAddict.com.

Dolce plays 'Gary', a know-it-all type middle son who along with his brothers (played by Matthew Levy and Benjamin Stockham) set out to replace their father when he's sent to prison.

From TVAddict.com: "Frank was actually the first named mentioned," explained executive producer Todd Holland of his young star. "In their interview to be hired, [Casting Directors] Nikki Vallo and Ken Miller said ‘We just came back from Broadway, saw Billy Elliot and Frank Dolce was amazing, he'd be great as Gary.' It really was destiny."

As for Dolce, he is eager for the added exposure that television will bring. He tells TVAddict.com, "People would recognize me in Manhattan, but some people don't even know where Broadway is," said Dolce when asked if it was a difficult choice to move from the glitz and glamour of Broadway to, well, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. "I think television is definitely a step up for me, exposure wise."

Dolce alternated the role of Michael in the original Broadway production of 'Billy Elliot'. He also acted in the Paper Mill Ensemble production of 'A Wonderful Life' in 2006. In 2008 he played 'Ralph' in the movie 'Doubt' opposite Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
