BACKSTAGE BROADWAY: BE MORE CHILL Announced At The Sheen Center

On Monday, April 15 The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street at the corner of Elizabeth Street in NYC) continues its new series, Backstage Broadway with a special event featuring company members from the new hit Broadway musical Be More Chill.

Hosted by Tony-nominated actor, music director, and composer/lyricist Alexander Gemignani, the new Backstage Broadway series offers audiences an inside look into some of Broadway's biggest hits.

On April 15, Gemignani is joined by Be More Chill stars Will Roland, George Salazar, Jason Tam, and composer/lyricist Joe Iconis for some live musical performances, and a discussion about the runaway success of the new musical. Be More Chill began life as a young adult novel, was adapted into a musical that debuted at a regional theater in New Jersey, became a cult phenomenon when the cast album was released, and opened off-Broadway in sold-out limited engagement before transferring to Broadway earlier this year.

Tickets for "Backstage Broadway: Be More Chill," are $30/$40/$50. Tickets/reservations for all events at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture are available online at SheenCenter.org, by phone at 212-925-2812, or in-person at The Sheen Center box office (18 Bleecker Street, at the corner of Elizabeth Street, NYC), Mon. - Fri. noon to 5PM. $15 student tickets are available with a valid current student ID.
