The Atlantic Acting School and the Atlantic Theater Company have announced the arrival of its first ever Los Angeles Conservatory Class to LA. 

This select group of Atlantic Acting School students, represent some of the top new talent from Atlantic's New York Programs in recent years.  Students will begin study with David Mamet, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Clark Gregg, Camryn Manheim, Chris Bauer, Michael Buster, and others this January in Los Angeles, culminating in an Industry Showcase in April.  Students from this group have already been seen in: Atlantic Theater Company productions, David Mamet's Spartan, P.S., I Love You (starring Hilary Swank), the FX Series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Guiding Light," Nickelodeon's "The Naked Brothers Band," national commercial ads for Cingular, Raisin Bran, Wendy's, Bud Light and theaters  across New York. 

2007 Atlantic Conservatory Students are:  Jeffrey Addiss, Craig Bator, Caroline Hurley, Allison Karman, Ashley Lambert, Jennifer McTamney, Marc Opitz, Emily Peck, Donald Rizzo, Jonathan Rossetti and Erin Williams.

10-Week Part-Time Program:

February 7th – April 18th (no class Monday, March 14th)

Wednesdays: 6pm – 10:15

"Learn the Practical Aesthetics technique created by David Mamet and William H. Macy in this 10 week Part Time Program.  This program is designed for actors of all levels who wish to study the Atlantic Acting School technique as outlined in A Practical Handbook for the Actor.  Students will build a foundation in our Script Analysis process giving them the ability to make specific, action-oriented choices and free their impulses through the work of the Repetition class, allowing them to make an honest, open connection to their scene partner(s) and work from moment to moment.  Designed as a three part program Levels II & III will give students the chance to continue building on the skills learned in Level I through advanced training in Script Analysis and Repetition as well as Performance Technique.  Acceptance to Levels II & III are through unanimous teacher recommendation."

10-Class Industry Series

Tuesdays 7pm – 9pm

Individual Classes: $30

10 Class Pre-Purchase: $250

Students Enrolled in Part Time Program: $200
