Andrew Gerle Releases His First Songbook

Richard Rodgers and Jonathan Larson Award-winner Andrew Gerle releases first songbook

Not Crazy Music has released "Songs," the first published volume of the songs of award-winning composer Andrew Gerle. The 170-page songbook features 23 songs arranged for piano and voice from Meet John Doe (lyrics by Eddie Sugarman), The Tutor (lyrics by Maryrose Wood), Gloryana, Brighter Things, and the upcoming revue Say We Flew (Sh-k-boom Records, January, 2011, to star Karen Ziemba and Mark Jacoby).

Song titles include "I'm Your Man," "Don't Eat Your Friends," "Being a Mother," "One More Thing (I'm Gonna Leave Behind)," "The Wrong Dress," "Perfect Days," "Cabaret Girl," "Still Life With Cigarette," "This Is a Song," "Glory," "Me Artist, You Rich," "Vero Beach," "The Little Choo-Choo," and "The Public Library," and are organized by show and by voice part.
