The Laurie Beechman Theatre will present award-winning singers Tom Andersen, Scott Coulter and Tim DiPasqua in "Southern Comfort: A Down-Home Country Music Jamboree" for three special performances only on Fridays, August 4, 11 and 18 at 7pm.  

"Backed by a first-rate, four-piece band, the trio will perform classic country tunes from the 1940s, all the way up to the hottest contemporary hits. The show includes George Jones' 'He Stopped Loving Her Today,' Charlie Rich's 'Behind Closed Doors,' k.d. Lang's 'Full Moon Full of Love' and Alan Jackson's 'Remember When.'  Other toe-tapping tunes included in the mix are chart-toppers by Glen Campbell, Vince Gill, Patti Loveless and Randy Travis.

Andersen, the recipient of five MAC Awards, has headlined across the country from Toulose in Chicago to The Algonquin's Oak Room in New York City. Also known as an award-winning songwriter ("Yard Sale," "Another Tuesday)", Andersen's songs have been performed and recorded around the world. He has recorded three CD's on The Other Music Label.

Coulter is one of cabaret's most popular vocalists. He is the recipient of both the 2001 MAC and Bistro Awards as Male Vocalist, as well as the 2003 MAC Award for Recording of the Year for his self-titled debut CD. He is a regular performer in the popular "Broadway by the Year" series at Town Hall, and has toured extensively with Broadway's legendary composer Stephen Schwartz as a featured vocalist in concerts throughout the country.

DiPasqua, a two-time bistro Award-winner, is one of the country's most sought-after musicians. He has performed to acclaim across the country as both a headliner and featured singer/songwriter. His debut CD, "Monster Under These Conditions," which features his own compositions, has been acclaimed around the world. His most recent recordings ("The Purpose of Love" – Volumes I and II), were recently released on Easter Records, featuring recordings by some of Broadway and cabaret's most esteemed performers, including Brian Lane Green, Alix Korey, Heather MacRae, KT Sullivan and Stephen Schwartz..
