Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), the American performing right organization, will present An Horse at the April edition of BMI's "Pick of the Month" series. Slated for Friday, April 16 at the Bowery Ballroom (6 Delancey Street, NYC), the performance begins at 9:00 p.m. General admission tickets for the April "Pick" showcase are $20 and can be purchased at http://tinyurl.com/ylpsq2w

An Horse band-mates Kate Cooper and Damon Cox played opening slots on Tegan and Sara's 2008 Out of Hibernation Spring U.S. tour and Death Cab for Cutie's Australian Tour. The pair, who met at a downtown Brisbane, Australia record shop, sharpened their craft at the dank basement store and took their show on the road, showcasing songs from their debut Rearrange Beds. http://www.myspace.com/anhorse

BMI's Pick of the Month is a live monthly showcase series focusing on a band or artist. The monthly series is meant to help expose the performer to the music industry and public through a top quality venue and discounted admission. Past BMI "Pick of the Month" participants include Lady Gaga, Macy Gray, Counting Crows and The Feeling.
