Altar Boyz to Appear on 'Good Day NY' January 31 Live from Madame Tussauds

Come see the cast of ALTAR BOYZ in person when they appear live on "Good Day NY" (Fox 5) from the world famous Madame Tussaud's in Times Square (234 West 42nd Street), on Tuesday January 31st between 6:30 am to 8 am. The event will kick off KIDS NIGHT ON BROADWAY.

Ken Davenport and Robyn Goodman, in association with Walt Grossman, Ruth Hendel, Sharon Karmazin, Matt Murphy and Mark Shacket, proudly present ALTAR BOYZ, the new acclaimed musical comedy at Dodger Stages and winner of the coveted Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, Off-Broadway.

Winner of the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical, ALTAR BOYZ is the smash hit musical-comedy spoof about a heavenly guy-group on the rise to stardom. Join the A-Boyz on the last leg of their national tour as they belt out hilarious songs and tell their unbelievably funny story (including how a nice Jewish boy ended up in the group - his mother for one would like to know). With an extraordinary mix of spectacular music, sinfully sensational dancing, uncontrollable laughs and lighthearted fun, this award-winning and totally original new musical is 90 minutes of pure delight that's suitable for all ages.

Also featured in the cast are Scott Porer as Matthew, Tyler Maynard as Mark; James Royce Edwards as Luke; Clyde Alves as Juan; and Dennis Moench as Abraham- He's Jewish! With Shadoe Stevens as the voice of G.O.D.

ALTAR BOYZ is directed by Stafford Arima and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli. ALTAR BOYZ has music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila, based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.
