Additional Performers Join The DOWN N' DIRTY DISCO
Terren Wooten Clarke (The Book of Mormon), Will Mann (Billy Elliot) and more have joined the previously announced line-up for Rock N' Roll Debauchery's return to The Cutting Room with an all new experience: The Down-N-Dirty Disco.
Headlining the evening are Darius Harper (Cirque du Soleil's VOLTA), Christine Dwyer (Jesus Christ Superstar Live) and Felicia Boswell (Jesus Christ Superstar Live). Also performing in the show are Tracy McDowell (Motown), Alison Cusano (A Night With Janis Joplin), Sarah Bowden (A Chorus Line), Ryan Allen Gray (Shirley House), Sean Matthew Whiteford (Rock of Ages), Talia Thiesfield (CBS's Kevin Can Wait), Elizabeth Urbanczyk, Galyana Castillo, Henry Staats, Melissa Staats, Gabby Cogan (Endangered The Musical), Jenn Eisenberg, Lynann Escatel, Cooper Flanagan, Adriana James (Broadway Bares), Salise Marin, Dana Panepinto, Emily Royston (Burlesque Dreams) and Eliana Slurzberg. Also joining the cast are Anita Welch (Avenue Q) and Jessie Alanga.
The Down-N-Dirty Disco will transport audience members back to the golden era of disco, but with the roots of rock and roll tied into each song. Guests can expect to hear over twenty classic tunes revamped in the signature Rock N' Roll Debauchery style, as well as shake their groove thing with a cast of Stage, Film and Television veterans.
The Down-N-Dirty Disco marks five years of the Rock N' Roll Debauchery Brand. In 2013, Executive Producer Angel Reed (Broadway's Rock of Ages) began the company in order to fund a benefit for her previous colleague and Rock of Ages cast member Michelle Mais who was then battling breast cancer. Due to an overwhelming success, the brand continued with additional performances throughout New York City, utilizing over 40 performers from different backgrounds and specialties. The brand continues with the upcoming anniversary celebration guaranteed to "rock the roof and dance floor".
Guest are invited to The Cutting Room Saturday April 21st at 8:00PM for cocktails at the bar. Doors for the special evening open at 9:00PM with performances beginning at 9:30PM. Cocktails and food will be served throughout the evening with reserved seating, standing room and more! Guests are "highly encouraged" to dress the part as photographers will be on hand to capture your best disco looks.
Angel Reed (Rock of Ages) is Executive Producer of the evening with Bryan Campione as Director, Harold Lewter as Producer, Ron Negro as Music Supervisor, Aerial Direction by Jennifer James Martin and Opening Number Choreography by Lane Napper (Nick's Henry Danger). Costumes for the evening are by DW Withrow and Photography by Bleu Rose.
