About Effie Passero
Effie Passero is a singer-songwriter from California's Central Valley whose musical journey began with piano lessons at age five and community theatre performances shortly thereafter. At age 11, she began studying opera with a local company, training in the classical form until her early twenties before turning her focus toward songwriting.
In 2018, Passero appeared on the revival season of AMERICAN IDOL, performing an original song and advancing to the semi-finals.
Today, she tours internationally with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox and performs with the classical crossover ensemble CelloVoci. Her career has taken her to some of the world's most prestigious venues, including London's Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
