Opera Orlando has announced the full cast for A DECADE OF DIVAS, a one-night-only concert celebrating the close of the company’s 10th anniversary season.

The performance will feature the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Stephanie Rhodes Russell, along with the Opera Orlando Chorus and Opera Orlando Youth Company. The evening will be hosted by Opera Orlando general director and Grammy Award-winning baritone Gabriel Preisser.

The program will combine opera and Broadway repertoire with selections from Turandot, Candide, La traviata, Carousel, and Les Misérables.

Featured performers include soprano Cecilia Violetta López, soprano Marnie Breckenridge, soprano Jamie Chamberlin, soprano Bridgette Gan, mezzo-soprano Amanda Crider, tenor Nathan Granner, and tenor Brian Cheney.

López previously appeared with Opera Orlando as Mimì in La bohème, Violetta in La traviata, and in the title role of Frida. She currently serves as general director and CEO of Opera Las Vegas.

Breckenridge appeared in Opera Orlando’s 2023 Summer Concert Series and starred as Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor during the company’s 2023-24 season. Gan performed in Opera Orlando’s inaugural MainStage production in 2016 and later returned for productions of La bohème and Don Pasquale. Crider previously appeared as Cinderella in La Cenerentola and as the Second Lady in The Magic Flute.

Chamberlin and Granner previously appeared together during Opera Orlando’s virtual Summer Concert Series in 2020, while Granner later portrayed Cavaradossi in Tosca. Cheney has also appeared with the company in Pagliacci and The Abduction from the Seraglio.

A DECADE OF DIVAS will take place May 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Steinmetz Hall inside Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The concert will run approximately 80 minutes with no intermission and will feature English and Spanish supertitles.

VIP ticket packages are also available, including access to pre-show and post-show receptions. Individual tickets start at $50.
