5th Annual Curtains Up for a Cure Broadway Concert Event Set for Playwrights Horizons Tonight

The Huntington's Disease Society of America's annual Curtains Up For A Cure, produced by Broadway actress Meredith Patterson and hosted by Lance Rubin, will be presented tonight, December 3rd at Playwrights Horizons in Manhattan.

This is the 5th year the benefit evening has been produced by Patterson, who has lost family members to Huntington's Disease. In association with the Greater NY Chapter of the HDSA, the concert features Broadway artists performing their favorite holiday tunes.

Joe Iconis directs the house band: Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia), Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, Jeremy Morse, and Ian Kagey at the 7:30PM concert. This one night only event will feature the talents of Mary Testa (Guys & Dolls, 42nd Street), Amy Dolan (42nd Street), Janine DiVita (Anything Goes), Walter Willison (Two by Two), Sara Hiance, Katie Schorr, with more to be announced. The event will also feature a special performance by 2012 David di Donatello Award-Winning artist, Michael Brunnock.

Attendees will have an opportunity to chat with the stars before the show at a cocktail hour meet and greet. The cocktail hour will begin at 6:30PM followed by the 7:30PM performance. Tickets are $50. All proceeds benefit the Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Greater New York Chapter.
