A date has been selected for the next "Nothing Like a Dame" benefit concert.  It will be held on March 19th, 2007 at a venue to be announced.

Presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the concerts annually benefit The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative of The Actors' Fund of America.  Last year's concert, which took place at the Imperial Theatre on March 6th, raised $300,000.

Stars for the 12th Annual "Nothing Like a Dame" concert have yet to be announced.  Last year's show featured Victoria Clark, Maria Friedman, Bebe Neuwirth and Tyne Daly, among others.

"The Actors' Fund of America is the only national non-profit organization that provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Since 1996, The Actors' Fund has focused on helping women in the industry who are coping with critical health concerns through The Fund's Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. Initiated by Actors' Fund Trustee Newman, the Women's Health Initiative offers a roster of services to help women access health care and to coordinate support services," state notes on the organization.
