ROMEO Y JULIETA Comes To Teatro Colón From 9/18

Teatro Colón is presenting the beautiful ballet ROMEO Y JULIETA, running from September 18 to September 25.

Premiered by the Royal Ballet in 1965 with Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn as protagonists, Romeo and Juliet was the consecrating work of Kenneth MacMillan. The tragedy of Shakespeare and the music of Prokoviev is added the stark language of highly poetic and legendary choreographer Kenneth MacMillian. The Romeo and Juliet of MacMillan is one of the essential titles of the dance repertoire. A hypnotic piece, that we all know, but that catches us each time as if it were the first.
