Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) presents Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus - A Live Radio Play, by Andrew J. Fenady, based upon the Teleplay by Val DeCrowl and Andrew J. Fenady. Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois. A young girl writes a letter to the editor of the New York Sun to ask, "Is there a Santa Claus?" Ed Mitchell, the editor, assigns Frank Church—a reporter on the verge of self destruction—the task of answering Virginia's question. Church's reply has become one of the world's most quoted and beloved editorials. Remember the good old days of radio—when people had to use their imaginations—when the mind was a stage? Those days are back—only better! Showtimes are December 18-20, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Performances are at Sentry Theater, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Enter the parking ramp at Sentry Insurance and follow the signs to the Theater. Parking is available on Levels 1 and 2.
Ages: For the most part, this is a family-friendly show. Depending on how well one listens, one might hear mild language (damn), references to alcohol use, and a failed suicide attempt.
Sentry Theater is at Sentry Theater, 1800 North Point Drive, Stevens Point, WI.
