Voyager at Australian String Quartet

The Australian String Quartet presents Voyager, its final national tour for 2026, featuring Garth Knox's Satellites, Bartók's String Quartet No.4, and Beethoven's String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op.130, with Grosse Fuge, Op.133. The program brings together the raw intensity of Bartok, the grandeur of Beethoven, and the other-worldly explorations of Irish composer and violist Garth Knox. Satellites reunites the Quartet with Knox's work, inviting audiences on a journey through space, movement and sound. The tour features violist Christopher Cartlidge and travels to Perth, Sydney, Mount Barker, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
