Good on her for doing something completely different at the Donmar to mark the start of the next phase in the Donmar's incredible story. Am really looking forward to seeing this one

Apropos. I was at Grandage's artistic director debut, and now ill have seen Josie Rourke’s.

I saw it last night and while the cast was having an off-night - line stumbles, breaking up with laughter, etc. - it was lots of fun. The fact that Ms Rourke opens with a broad Restoration comedy says regime change right away. For all the excellences of the Grandage era there wasn't much laughter around the Donmar. Last night it was positively raucous in there.
Faced with these Loreleis, what man can moralize!

I'm taking a day trip to London and back just to see that, quite excited.

Also a picture of Mark Gatiss in that fabulous wig just brightend my morning!
