The Daily Mail UK reports that Miranda Raison will star in Donmar Theatre's Physicists. The actress will play a physicist's wife and nurse in the stage version of Friedrich Durrenmatt's Cold War satire. Josie Rourke will direct the show, which begins rehearsals April 23 and starts performances May 31.

Raison will star next to John Heffernan (She Stoops to Conquer), Paul Bhattacharjee and Justin Salinger who will play German astronomer Johann Mobius, Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton respectively. The play follows the three scientists' time spent in a sanatorium.

Raison starred in The Globe Theatre's production of Anne Boleyn. She has also starred in several television shows including Emmerdale and Spooks.

As well as presenting at least six productions a year at its home in Covent Garden, the Donmar presents work nationally and internationally.
