NextStop Theatre Company premieres a new family show this Saturday, July 19th, just in time to provide relief for parents looking for creative indoor family activities to escape the recent unpredictable summer weather. The show is "Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island", written Joshua Mikel and directed by Danny Tippett.

In this imaginative kids' comedy about making a family where you find one, the inhabitants of "Bad Bad Island" come upon a crate addressed to "Good Good Island", which has been mistakenly delivered to their shores. The "Bad Bads" and their leader discover the crate contains a frightening creature: a little girl named Rosa! Rosa has a few surprises up her sleeves as she completes a series of seemingly impossible tasks in this NextStop Family production.

"This show is a perfect fit for this time of year.", says Evan Hoffmann, NextStop's Producing Artistic Director, "The whimsical tropical setting and party-like atmosphere is perfect for summer and kids on vacation, but with so much unpredictable weather recently, the added bonus of an indoor family activity with air-conditioning is the icing on the cake."

"Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island" runs from July 19th to August 10th in NextStop's 114-seat black box theatre near the intersection of Fairfax County Parkway and Dulles Toll Road. Families are invited to grab a kid friendly snack or drink from the lobby concessions and be transported far far away for the show's approximately one-hour running time.

An opportunity for kids to take photos with characters from the show and get autographs on free souvenir posters is included with admission.

Hoffmann adds, "Not only are kids introduced to amazing live theatre during the show, but watching them interact with the cast after the show is priceless."

General admission for adults and children is $10*. Purchase online at www.nextstoptheatre.org and or call OvationTix: 866-811-4111 *- transaction fees may apply. Convenience fees are greater for tickets purchased at the door. Group rates available. Contact boxoffice@nextstoptheatre.org for more information about groups.
