Interested in a week's stay on Nantucket - cheap? A great deal on a Shelburne Museum family membership? Painting lessons? A spa package?

Or might we interest you in a 2004 Volvo convertible?

All of the above and more will be on the block for LIGHTS! CAMERA! AUCTION!, a special event to benefit Middlebury's Town Hall Theater, held at THT on Saturday evening, June 25, beginning at 6:30 pm.

The evening will feature sparkling entertainment, live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, and food and drink.

A hard-working crew has been working on the event for months. "As we head into our fourth season, we have several nagging, one-time expenses that need to be met," says THT executive director, Doug Anderson. "Linda Punderson, Sue Byers, Joanne Langrock, Carolyn Jackson, Gayl Braisted and their team have taken up the cause and put together an astonishing evening. It's going to be a lot of fun."

Items range from the elegant (a week in a San Francisco Condo) to the rustic (a pheasant hunt) to the downright homey (a load of firewood delivered). There's something for every budget, and every penny raised will help Town Hall Theater launch its fourth season.

Tickets are $25, and may be purchased at www.townhalltheater.org, 802 382-9222, at the THT Box Office (Mon-Sat, noon-5 pm) and at the door.
