It is a story for those who have a passion for the horror and hope in humanity, and is told from the perspective of the Wife, her Husband and a solitary gardening Witch, all of whom share a profound grief-stricken longing for a child.Rapunzel After Dark is experienced through dance, incredibly emotional performances, exceptional design, music and narration by a collection of world-class collaborators; former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, award-winning composer Murray Gold (Doctor Who; Gentlemen Jack; Its A Sin), and Michele Clapton, award- winning Costume Designer (Game of Thrones; The Crown; Mamma Mia). The score is performed by Royal Northern Sinfonia.Full of colour and emotion, this spellbinding retelling is narrated by leading British actor Lesley Sharp (The Full Monty; Scott and Bailey; Three Girls) and is choreographed and directed by Liv Lorent MBE.
