Sheffield Theatres today announces seven exciting shows that will visit Sheffield next year as part of the company's spring 2014 season. The shows will go on sale to Centre Stage Members on Saturday 21 September and to the public on Saturday 28 September.

Dreamboats & Petticoats rock 'n' rolls back to the Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday 14 - Saturday 18 January to take audiences on a trip down a musical memory lane. Set in 1961, love, rock 'n' roll and fame beckons for the characters of this sensational production that features hit tracks from Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury and many more.

Following the sell-out Carpet Remnant World, acclaimed writer and comedian Stewart Lee returns to Sheffield Theatres with Much A-Stew About Nothing, a selection of uniquely funny thoughts and new ideas, on the Crucible stage on Friday 31 January and Saturday 1 February.

For families, Tom's Midnight Garden by The Birmingham Stage Company (James and The Giant Peach, Horrible Histories) will delight all ages from Tuesday 4 - Saturday 8 February, before musical sensation Seven Brides for Seven Brothers dances into the Lyceum Theatre from Monday 10 - Saturday 15 February, starring Adam Attwater (Dancing on Ice champion, EastEnders) and Helena Blackman (How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, The Wizard of Oz).

The new season sees the musical premiere of Happy Days (Monday 17 - Saturday 22 February), featuring 'The Fonz', the Cunninghams and the rest of the gang from the feel-good hit TV series. The show stars Cheryl Baker as Mrs Cunningham, pop star Heidi Range (Sugababes) as Pinky Tuscadero and Ben Freeman (Emmerdale) in the iconic role of 'The Fonz' and was written by the TV series creator, Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman, Beaches and The Princess Diaries 1&2). The show also includes hit songs by Paul Williams (Bugsy Malone, Evergreen, Rainy Days and Mondays).

Sheffield's home-grown Croft House Theatre Company also return with a musical, as they stage Grease from Tue 11 - Saturday 15 March, with the unforgettable songs including You're the One That I Want, Hopelessly Devoted to You and Greased Lightnin', before Northern Ballet bring their unique retelling of Cleopatra to stage once more in the must-see ballet about this remarkable woman's story (Tue 25 - Saturday 29 March).
