SARAH Millican will be making a return visit to The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, next year. Tickets for Outsider, the comedian's new live tour, go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Friday).

In just seven years Millican has gone from winning the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to becoming one of the UK's most successful and multi-award-winning comedians, who also holds the record as the highest-selling female comedian in the DVD market.

As well as her success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Millican was also voted the People's Choice Queen of Comedy at the 2011 British Comedy Awards and has fronted three series of her critically-acclaimed BBC2 series The Sarah Millican Television Programme, for which she received two BAFTA nominations. She is also a popular guest on primetime shows such as The Graham Norton Show, QI, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Her new tour, her fourth, will run for 119 dates, starting this October and finishing 11 months later. Millican's last tour, Home Bird, was seen by more than 200,000 people.

Sarah Milligan is at The Marlowe Theatre on Tuesday 9 August 2016. Tickets, priced £25 (booking fee applies) are from the Box Office on 01227 787787 or at marlowetheatre.com.
